"The Great NDN Paradox" by: Ryan McMahon - Coming To Arsenal Pulp Press Imprint, Robin's Egg Books

I'm happy to announce that I am writing my very first book entitled, The Great NDN Paradox - Seriously Funny Stories About The Paradoxical Lives We Live. It'll be released on Arsenal Pulp Press imprint, Robin's Egg Books and will be edited by the smart & hilarious, Charlie Demers.

The Great NDN Paradox

For now, it's all sitting in a notebook, the working chapter titles came to me first. I can't wait to dig into the comedy, the anger & the confusion that colonialism has gifted us all.

The Great NDN Paradox will be out in the Fall of 2018 and will be accompanied by a tour and a podcast mini-series in partnership with Indian & Cowboy.

Make sure to keep up to date by subscribing to my newsletter to get further announcements, giveaways, news and tour dates!

The journey continues.

Thanks for coming on this journey with me!

ARSENAL PULP PRESS, ROBIN'S EGG BOOKS & CHARLIE DEMERS

I'm proud to align myself with a press like Arsenal Pulp Press as they have a long history of delivering powerful, personal and challenging narratives that the world needs more of. Some of my favourite books have come from Arsenal and some of my favourite writers publish with Arsenal - to find myself here is really amazing, I'm honoured by the opportunity to write this book.

Charlie mentioned the possibility of joining his imprint quite some time ago. I can assure you, asking a "Native comedian" to write a book with his imprint isn't Charlie's calculated effort to get on the "reconciliation train" as many others are. His vision to give space to comedy that creates space for intersectional conversations about difficult topics is not only rare and necessary in Canada, but it is the way Charlie approaches his own creative work. I'm honoured to have been asked to be one of the three books on the new imprint.
